The place

A break in the heart of the slopes

At 2,431 metres, facing the Col du Palet and at the gates of the Vanoise National Park, Le Palet is reached skis on or on foot, by the Tichot chairlift. A mountain canteen where you come to refuel, meet the others and enjoy the mountains a little longer.

Inside or on the terrace, with the Aiguille Noire de Pramecou on the horizon, the mood is relaxed, lively, spontaneous. You have lunch, you linger, music sometimes joins in through the afternoon… and the break easily takes on an air of celebration.

Here, the ski day never really stops: it simply changes rhythm.

The cuisine

Homemade, even on the slopes

At Le Palet, the cooking is simple, indulgent and homemade. Diots de Savoie with polenta, the signature hot dog, poke bowls, homemade pastries and treats such as churros... Plates designed to comfort after a few runs, satisfy big appetites and let everyone refuel at their own pace.

Here too, you find the same care for produce and the same pleasure of eating well that runs through the whole Maison Bouvier.

Because between two runs, indulgence counts too.

The atmosphere

When the break turns festive

As the afternoon goes on, the mood can change tempo. Lunches stretch out on the terrace, the music takes its place and Le Palet becomes that meeting point where you come as much to enjoy the moment as to refuel.

Skis always close by, summits all around… but for a few moments, no urgency to leave.

The story

A story born of a friendship

Behind Le Palet there is also a story of friendship. Clément Bouvier imagined this address with Gary Ceccarelli, his childhood friend. Together they gave birth to a place that is freer and more spontaneous within the Maison Bouvier world, built around what they love about the mountains: skiing, eating well, meeting the others and enjoying the moment. Gary has since left to pursue new projects, but the spirit they imagined together when Le Palet was born has remained: that of a mountain canteen, lively, generous and unfussy.

A long-standing friendship, at the origin of another way of living the mountains.
