At the heart of Les Suites, the Whitney is a living space you come to as the mood takes you. For a drink, a few plates to share, dinner, to join the people you are travelling with or simply to enjoy being here.
You settle in, you order, you share. And often, you stay a little longer than planned.
Here, there is never any real hurry.
When the mountain turns white, the Whitney becomes the refuge you are glad to return to after a day outside. The warmth of the wood, the fire, a glass set down on the table and the stories of the day being told.
In the summer months, the pace changes but the desire stays the same. You meet up after a day in the mountains, share something, have a drink and quietly let the evening begin.

At the Whitney, you eat just as you please. A few plates in the middle of the table, a light bite or a proper dinner: the menu lets everyone compose their own moment.
The mountain and its produce run through it: Savoie cheeses, trout, Reblochon, Beaufort, yet never confined to them… A homemade pâté en croûte may sit alongside a ceviche, Reblochon arancini, a chirashi or homemade pasta. A generous, free-spirited cuisine, made above all for pleasure.

Behind the Whitney's bar there are the great classics, of course, but also the pleasure of surprising you. Cocktails imagined around unexpected pairings, ephemeral creations composed as the mood dictates, with or without alcohol, and a selection of spirits that invites discovery.
And then there is the Chartreuse. Green, yellow, VEP, limited editions, old cuvées and rare vintages: a collection built up over time, in which some bottles alone tell of several decades.
Some glasses are to be savoured. Others tell a story.
